Refund Policy

This policy explains refund handling for GovJobUpdates paid live tests, UP service assistance and other paid features. GovJobUpdates is a private information and preparation portal, not a government website.

Live test payments

Live test entry fees are charged only for access to the specific test, registration processing, attempt management, result/report generation and competition operations. Payment does not guarantee any government job, official rank, official result, selection or prize.

When a refund may be considered

A refund may be considered if the payment was debited but registration was not created, a duplicate payment was received for the same registration, the test was cancelled by GovJobUpdates, or the test was postponed and the candidate cannot attend the revised schedule.

Failed or pending payments

If a payment fails or remains pending, the payment gateway or bank may automatically reverse the amount. This can take time depending on the bank, UPI app or Razorpay/payment provider. Please do not make repeated payments unless the earlier transaction is clearly failed.

Duplicate payments

If the same candidate makes a duplicate payment for the same live test or service, contact support with the payment ID/order ID/UTR, registered mobile number and email. After verification, the extra payment may be refunded or adjusted where possible.

Cancellation and no-show

Refunds are generally not provided if a candidate misses the test, enters incorrect details, loses access due to personal device/network issues, violates test rules, is disqualified for suspicious activity, or decides not to attempt after successful registration.

UP service assistance payments

UP service assistance fees cover application help, document checking, payment verification and request handling. GovJobUpdates cannot guarantee certificate approval because approval/rejection is controlled by the concerned government authority. Refunds are not normally available after processing work has started, except for duplicate or clearly failed payment cases.

Prize and reward clarification

Live test prize or reward eligibility depends on the published test rules, successful paid collection, result verification and anti-cheating checks. A refund request or payment issue may affect prize eligibility if the payment is reversed or not verified.

Processing time

Approved refunds are normally initiated within 7 working days after verification. Final credit to the user's account depends on the bank, UPI app, card network or Razorpay/payment provider timeline.

Razorpay/payment provider note

Razorpay, UPI apps, banks and card networks may have their own processing timelines and dispute procedures. GovJobUpdates can verify and initiate eligible refunds from its side, but final settlement depends on the payment provider.
