SSC Combined Hindi Translator (JHT) 2025 Paper II Result
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially declared the Paper-II descriptive exam results for the Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2025. Candidates can now check their selection status for the upcoming PET/PST and post-preference allocations.

SSC JHT 2025 Paper-II Selection Highlights
- Out of 3,642 candidates who qualified in Paper-I to appear for Paper-II, a total of 1,722 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the next stages of recruitment specifically under the CRPF post option.
- Shortlisted candidates who opted for the post of Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) in CRPF will undergo Physical Endurance Test / Physical Standard Test (PET/PST) managed directly by the CRPF.
- Candidates who fail the PET/PST round will still retain their eligibility for all other civilian translation posts like JHT, JTO, and SHT based on their performance metrics and academic qualifications.
- Mandatory Requirement: The Commission will open an online Option-cum-Preference window before the final merit list declaration. Candidates who fail to submit their post preferences during this window will not be considered for any post in the Final Result.

- OBC / EWS: 25%

Structure of Selection Process

Paper-I (Computer Based Test): Objective test evaluating General Hindi and General English domains (200 marks total). Completed on 12-08-2025.

Paper-II (Descriptive Evaluation): Standard offline test looking closely at descriptive Translation and Essay writing proficiency (200 marks total). Completed on 14-12-2025.

Physical Evaluation (PET/PST): Mandatory exclusively for shortlisted candidates prioritizing the Sub-Inspector post in CRPF. Scheduled sequentially following the 04-06-2026 result announcement.
