Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Junior Statistical Officer
Bachelor's Degree with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at 12th level, or Bachelor's Degree with Statistics as one subject at degree level.
Statistical Investigator Grade-II
Bachelor degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics / Demography / Population Studies / OR / IT / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Computer Technology / Computer Application / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence.

Selection Process

Candidate submits online application through SSC portal and appears in Tier-I Computer Based Examination.

Shortlisted candidates appear in Tier-II Computer Based Examination. Paper-I is compulsory for all posts.

Paper-II is for candidates shortlisted for JSO / Statistical Investigator posts. Paper-III is for AAO / Assistant Accounts Officer posts.
- 4
Final selection and post allocation will be based on merit-cum-preference, eligibility, document verification and post-specific standards.

Tier-II negative marking: 1 mark in Section-I, Section-II and Section-III of Paper-I; 0.50 marks in Paper-II and Paper-III.
How to Apply

Visit ssc.gov.in or use the mySSC mobile application and complete One-Time Registration if not already done on the new SSC portal.

Login using Registration Number and Password and open the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026 apply link under Latest Notifications.

Fill qualification, category, exam centre preference and other required details carefully. Candidates may opt for Aadhaar based authentication during OTR/application process.

Capture live photograph as instructed and upload signature in JPEG/JPG format of 10 KB to 20 KB. Photo should be without cap, mask or spectacles.

Preview the application, accept declaration, pay fee if applicable and keep a printout / copy of application form for future reference.
Important Instructions
- Applications must be submitted online only through the SSC website or mySSC mobile application.
- Old OTR generated on ssc.nic.in will not work for the new SSC website; candidates must use the new SSC portal OTR.
- Women candidates and eligible SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from application fee.
- Final post allocation depends on merit-cum-preference and fulfilment of post-specific physical, medical and educational standards.
- Answer key challenges, if allowed, will be submitted online within the stipulated period with fee as prescribed by SSC.
- There is no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of scores of any stage/tier of the examination.
- Candidates should verify all details from the official SSC notification before final submission.
