The Indian Navy has invited online applications from unmarried men and women candidates for the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme for Permanent Commission in Technical branches. The course will commence in January 2027 at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.

- Candidates must have appeared in JEE Main 2026. SSB call-up will be based on JEE Main All India Common Rank List (CRL) 2026.
- Selected candidates will undergo a four-year B.Tech course at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. Degree will be awarded by JNU.

Women Vacancy: Maximum 08 vacancies are for women candidates, 04 each for Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Vacancies are tentative and may change as per service requirement.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Passed Senior Secondary Examination 10+2 pattern or equivalent from a recognised board with at least 70% aggregate marks in PCM and at least 50% marks in English in Class X or Class XII.
JEE Main Requirement
Candidates must have appeared for JEE Main 2026 for B.E./B.Tech. SSB call-up will be issued on the basis of JEE Main All India Common Rank List (CRL) 2026 published by NTA.
Medical Standards
SSB recommended candidates will undergo medical examination applicable to 10+2 B.Tech entry. No relaxation in medical standards is available on any ground.

Selection Process

Naval Headquarters will shortlist applications for SSB based on JEE Main All India Common Rank List (CRL) 2026.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed about SSB interview through email and SMS provided in the application form.

SSB interviews will be scheduled at Bengaluru, Bhopal, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam from September 2026 onwards.

Recommended candidates will undergo medical examination. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of SSB marks and medical fitness.

Appointment will be subject to police verification, character verification and availability of vacancies in the entry.
Training Details
- Selected candidates will be inducted as Cadets for a four-year B.Tech course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.
- Branches include Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding for selected candidates as per Naval requirements.
- The B.Tech degree will be awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
- The entire cost of training, including books and reading material, will be borne by the Indian Navy. Cadets will also receive entitled clothing and messing.

Register / login and open the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme application form for the Jan 2027 course.

Fill personal details exactly as mentioned in the Matriculation / 12th class certificates. Email ID and mobile number are mandatory.

Keep DOB proof, 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet, JEE Main 2026 score card showing CRL and recent passport size photograph ready in JPG/TIFF format.

Upload clear and readable documents, submit the application carefully and take printout of the application for SSB interview.
Important Instructions
- Only unmarried candidates are eligible for this training. Candidate may be discharged if found married or marries during training.
- Multiple applications for this course by the same candidate may lead to cancellation of candidature.
- The application once submitted will be final and no request for amendment / change will be entertained.
- If any scanned document is not legible or readable, the application may be rejected.
- Change of SSB centre is not permissible under any circumstances.
- AC 3-tier rail fare is admissible for SSB interview if appearing for the first time for that particular type of commission, subject to rules.
- Use or possession of narcotics is banned and may lead to debarment or removal from service.
