One-Time Registration (OTR) Fees

Financial Penalty for Absentees: Per Govt circular dated 09-05-2025, if an applicant stays absent from 2 recruitment examinations conducted within a single financial year (April 1 to March 31), their online OTR application facility will be blocked. Unblocking requires a payment penalty of Rs. 750. If blocked again within the same year, the penalty raises to Rs. 1500. Candidates can avoid this by using the official "Withdraw" provision before the examination date.

Vacancy Details & Pay Matrix Levels

The total 607 posts are permanently distributed as follows across distinct administrative and auxiliary cadres:

1. Rajasthan State Services (Total: 192 Posts)

2. Rajasthan Subordinate Services (Total: 415 Posts)

Note: NSA implies Non-Scheduled Area; SA implies Scheduled Area. Special reservation frameworks operate independently for Departmental Candidates (DC), Non-Gazetted Employees (NGE), Sports Persons (SP), and Ex-Servicemen (Ex-Ser) as configured inside official appendices.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Standard Age Limits (As on 01-01-2027):

• General Framework: Minimum 21 Years Completed and must not have attained the upper cap of 40 Years.
• Non-Gazetted Employee (NGE) Cadre: Minimum age must be 25 Years and must be below 45 Years.
• Special Age Relaxation Note: Since this notification follows the previous advertising cycle of 2024, an additional relaxation of 1 Year is natively granted across upper thresholds to all conforming categories.

Note: Age relaxation items from points 1 to 13 are non-cumulative. Only one beneficial relaxation parameter can be derived at a time, except for PwBD combinations which can append rules as highlighted in internal provisions.

Selection Process

The selection architecture for the RPSC RAS/RTS examination comprises three stages as mandated by recruitment rules:

1. 1

   Stage I: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) — Operates solely as a screening filtering test. The aggregate marks obtained in the Pre examination are not factored into the final multi-stage merit list generation.

2. 2

   Stage II: Main Written Examination (Descriptive/Analytical) — Successful candidates equal to 15 times the vacancy volume will be short-listed to sit for the Main phase. Requires descriptive writing across structural grids.

3. 3

   Stage III: Personality & Viva-Voce Test (Interview) — Evaluates character, conversational intelligence, physique, administrative aptitude, and comprehensive knowledge of Rajasthani Culture. Holds a weightage of 100 Marks.

Official Examination Scheme & Pattern

A. Preliminary Examination (Objective Scheme)

• The screening pattern has exactly one composite paper at a standard matching a Bachelor's Degree.

Mandatory OMR Evaluation Rules: Every single question contains 5 explicit options labeled as 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. It is absolutely mandatory to darken one bubble. If an applicant chooses to skip a question, they must darken the 5th circle. Failure to darken any of the five choices will attract a penalty deduction of 1/3 part of the question's specific marks. Any candidate leaving more than 10% of total questions completely blank (with no options darkened) will face instantaneous disqualification.

B. Main Written Examination (Descriptive & Analytical Scheme)

Candidates must take all 4 mandatory papers. Question patterns vary between brief, medium, and extended long analytical answers. General Hindi and General English match Senior Secondary structural benchmarks.

Qualifying Benchmarks: Candidates must score at least 10% marks in each individual paper and a collective minimum threshold of 15% in aggregate across all 4 written papers to secure eligibility for the interview summon. A relaxation of 5% applies directly to SC and ST classifications.

How to Apply Online via SSO Portal

   Visit the official RPSC Application framework via the Single Sign-On portal: https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/.

   Navigate towards the "Recruitment Portal" application inside the Citizen Apps (G2C) hub.

   Execute the "One Time Registration" (OTR) procedure. This mandates verifying core metrics (Name, Father's Name, DOB, Gender) using live KYC authentication via Aadhaar Card or Jan Aadhaar Card.

   Pay the requested one-time registration fees online through net banking, debit cards, or integrated e-Mitra pathways if not processed previously.

   Open the live RPSC RAS 2026 application form link. The OTR mechanism will automatically fetch biographical strings and your live webcam picture directly into the layout.

   Upload a clean digital signature and left-thumb impression into the layout matching technical parameters.

   Thoroughly inspect all entries inside the Application Preview module before hitting Submit. Retain a clean printed hard copy for verification purposes.

Important Structural Instructions

• Only Indian National citizens are eligible to apply under the state criteria.
• All administrative posts announced are completely permanent and regular vacancies under the respective service rules.
• The mobile number and email ID logged into the form layout must remain active throughout the recruitment lifecycle since RPSC communicates updates solely through electronic SMS or e-mail pathways.
• Submitting fraudulent data, false academic claims, or non-disclosure of mandatory metrics will cause structural rejection and invite strict legal prosecution under Section 217 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023, along with a multi-year debarment.
• Married candidates must provide structural declarations regarding single marriage status and submit official marriage certificates at document verification stages. Candidates having more than 2 alive kids post 01-06-2002 are ineligible for posting provisions.
