Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has released a notification for the direct recruitment of Group 'C' vacancies, inviting online applications for 90 posts of Assistant Agriculture Officer (Class-1 & Class-3) and Chara Sahayak Group-3 under the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Departments of Uttarakhand.

General Domicile Rule: Candidates must be registered in an Employment Exchange of Uttarakhand, hold a Permanent Residency/Domicile Certificate, or must have cleared their High School & Intermediate examinations from recognized academic institutions situated within Uttarakhand state.

Age Cut-off Frame: The candidate's birth date must not be later than 01 July, 2005 and not earlier than 02 July, 1984. Max age limit parameters are relaxed for the following specific reserved groups:
- Uttarakhand SC / ST / OBC Candidates: 05 Years Relaxation (as per G.O. dated 21 May, 2005).
- Uttarakhand Benchmark Disabilities (Divyangjan): 10 Years Relaxation (as per G.O. dated 21 May, 2005).
- Dependents of Uttarakhand Freedom Fighters (DFF): 05 Years Relaxation.
- Ex-Servicemen (Uttarakhand Domicile): Actual military active service term will be deducted from age, and the resulting figure must not exceed max age by more than 3 years.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Exam Framework Summary: Single paper containing 100 marks with 2 hours duration. The questions strictly correspond to the prescribed educational qualifications required for the respective jobs.

Competitive Exam: 100 Marks objective Type paper featuring multiple-choice options. Exam window spans exactly 2 hours.

Negative Marking Rule: Deduction of 1/4th (0.25) marks applies on wrong selection. Overlapping or selecting duplicate bubbles also commands negative scoring. No penalty applies on unattempted questions.

Minimum Qualifying Cut-off: General & OBC candidates require minimum 45% qualifying score, whereas Scheduled Caste (SC) & Scheduled Tribe (ST) applicants require minimum 35% score to stand eligible for active merit list inclusion.

OMR Carbon Policy: Triplicate sets are provided for offline exams. Candidates are authorized to preserve the 3rd copy (Candidate copy), while returning original & duplicate copies safely to invigilators.

Tie-Break Criterion: If multiple candidate marks clash, priority allocation occurs on basis of older age. If age profile matches identically, alphabetic nomenclature sequence sorting is executed.
