Eligibility / Experience / Qualifications

Candidates must hold at least a First Division Degree from recognized government institutions only. The required experience criteria must be fulfilled after attaining the essential educational qualifications.

Experience Weightage Criteria for Higher Qualifications

Higher qualifications are equated to research experience and granted weightage under strict mandatory criteria:

• Post Graduate Qualification in Engineering (ME/M.Tech): 2 Years weightage.
• Post Graduate Degree in Medicine/Physiology (For Medical Post): 3 Years weightage.
• Doctorate Degree in Science / Pharmacy (Ph.D.): 3 Years weightage.
• Doctorate Degree in Engineering (Ph.D.): 4 Years weightage.
• Note on overlapping: The period of active study must not overlap with professional job experience; overlapping periods are systematically removed.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Screening & Selection Process

   Administrative Screening: Initial review of user identities, age limits, mandatory First Division certificates, exact length of post-qualification experiences, and valid CCA declarations.

2. 2

   Technical Screening (Level-1): An independent Technical Screening Committee evaluates the specific field relevance of job experiences and higher qualification matching profiles in a predefined ratio.

3. 3

   Technical Screening (Level-2 / Preliminary Online Interview): If the count of eligible applicants is large, a 10-15 minute preliminary online interview is organized to narrow down the list.

   Final Personal Interview: Shortlisted individuals must appear in-person before the Selection Board at RAC, Delhi. No online or alternative interview modes are permitted.

   Final Merit Compilation: Final selection is strictly based on the performance in the Final Personal Interview. Candidates must score a minimum of 75% marks (75 out of 100) in the interview to be considered for merit listing.

How to Apply Online

   Visit the official DRDO RAC recruitment portal link: https://rac.gov.in.

   Register as a new user and login using credentials to open the Advt No. 157 Application Form.

3. 3

   Fill in clear details concerning educational history, post-qualification experiences, and personal data exactly as visible in birth proofs.

4. 4

   Upload mandatory documents (DOB proof, clear degree certificates, legible experience letters specifying CTC and areas of work, and passport size photo) keeping file size under 500 KB per PDF block.

5. 5

   Process the online application fees (if applicable), preview the structural fields, then securely lock and finalize the application before 19 June 2026 (16:00 Hours).

Important Instructions

• Only Indian Nationals are legally eligible to register and apply.
• Experience certs must contain explicit designations, dates of joining/leaving, precise CTC figures, and clear operational work definitions signed by HR heads/Directors. Letters from Group/Project Heads are rejected.
• Serving Government or Semi-Govt workers must upload a signed Cadre Controlling Authority (CCA) Declaration during form filling, and produce a structural original NOC at the interview stage.
• Any disclosure of confidential organizational workflow patterns inside experience descriptions will lead to instant termination of candidature.
• Any structural name mismatch with matching degree sheets necessitates the upload of a clear notarized affidavit during online application.
