About This Result

Staff Selection Commission has issued the result write-up for First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) of Stenographer Grade C and D Examination, 2025. This update is not only a roll-number result notice; it also explains how candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for allocation to different Ministries, Departments and Offices.

The Commission had declared the Computer Based Examination result on 28 November 2025. In that result, 8624 candidates were qualified for the Stenography Skill Test for Grade C and 22456 candidates were qualified for the Stenography Skill Test for Grade D. Out of them, 4907 Grade C candidates and 12564 Grade D candidates appeared in the skill test.

The FRTA has been prepared according to merit-cum-order of preference and the sliding mechanism notices issued by SSC. Candidates should read the official notice carefully because venue selection, physical attendance in the sliding process and final result publication are linked with the instructions mentioned by the Commission.

1. Visit the official Staff Selection Commission website at ssc.gov.in.
2. Open the Results or Latest News section and find the Stenographer Grade C and D Examination, 2025 FRTA/result write-up.
3. Download the official result write-up, allocation PDF and any attached list made available by SSC.
4. Search your roll number, post code, category or allocation details carefully in the official PDF/list.
5. If recommended, log in through the designated module on SSC website for sliding process venue, date and slot selection.

What After Result

After the First Round of Tentative Allocation, recommended candidates have to follow the sliding process instructions issued by SSC. The Commission has stated that candidates must choose venue, date and slot for the sliding process by logging in through the designated login module on the SSC website from 19 June 2026 to 22 June 2026.

The sliding process will be conducted at the cities of the concerned Regional Offices from 1 July 2026 to 2 July 2026. SSC has clearly mentioned that a candidate failing to attend the sliding process physically will be treated as absent and will not be considered for the final result.

• Log in on the SSC website within the given schedule.
• Select venue, date and slot for the sliding process.
• Check the venue address inside the designated login module.
• Attend the sliding process physically as per official instructions.
• Wait for the final result and marks notice after completion of the process.

Documents Required for Next Stage

• Printed copy of result/allocation notice and login/slot confirmation, if generated.
• Admit card or admission certificate of the relevant examination stage.

• Valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport, driving licence or PAN card.
