About This Result

The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) successfully conducted the written examination for the recruitment of 122 Havildar Instructor (Adhinayak Anudeshak) positions under Advertisement No. 05/2026 on 29 July 2026 across various examination centres in Bihar. Out of the registered applicants, 60,554 candidates took the examination, and 58,446 OMR answer sheets were evaluated.

The commission has declared the shortlisted candidates list based on standard reservation norms and minimum qualifying criteria. 3. Click on the link titled "Result of Preliminary Written Examination for the Post of Havildar Instructor (Advt. No. 05/2026)".

What After Result: Next Stage (PET / PMT)

Candidates who qualified in the written examination will receive admit cards for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). The physical standard test requirements are summarized below:

• Height Standards: Male candidates require 165 cm (160 cm for SC/ST). Female candidates require 155 cm.
• Chest Measurement (Male only): 81-86 cm (79-84 cm for SC/ST).
• Running Event: Male: 1.6 KM in 6 Minutes. Female: 1 KM in 5 Minutes.
• High Jump: Male: Minimum 4 Feet. Female: Minimum 3 Feet.
• Shot Put (Gola Fek): Male: 16 Pound shot to 16 Feet. Female: 12 Pound shot to 12 Feet.
