SSC Stenographer 2025 Revised FRTA Result 2026

About This Result

The Staff Selection Commission conducted the Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination 2025 Computer Based Examination from 06 August 2025 to 11 August 2025, followed by the Stenography Skill Test on 28 and 29 January 2026. Following the review of candidate representations regarding the Skill Test evaluation, SSC re-evaluated the assessment and published the Revised First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) on 31 July 2026.

A total of 10,132 candidates who had submitted their online post and department preferences were considered during this allocation process. Out of these, 232 candidates have been provisionally recommended for Grade C posts and 1,483 candidates for Grade D posts based on merit, skill test qualification, and department choices.

Candidates allocated departments under the revised FRTA must now participate in the online slot selection from 04 to 05 August 2026 and complete the sliding mechanism process on 11 and 12 August 2026 to be considered against unutilized vacancies.

How to Check SSC Stenographer Revised Result

1. Visit the official portal of Staff Selection Commission at ssc.gov.in.
2. Navigate to the "Notice Board" or "Results" tab on the homepage.
3. Click on the link titled "Revised First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) – Stenographer Grade C & D Examination 2025".
4. Open and download the official result PDF notice.
5. Use the search shortcut (Ctrl + F) to find your Roll Number or Name.
6. Check your allocation status, department code, and recommended post.
7. Save and print a copy of the result PDF for future reference.

What After Revised FRTA Result?

Candidates shortlisted in the revised FRTA should complete the next steps as per official instructions:

• Online Slot Selection: Candidates who want to participate in the sliding process must select their venue and time slot online between 04 August and 05 August 2026.
• Sliding Mechanism Process: Attend the sliding process on 11 August and 12 August 2026 for allocation against available unutilized vacancies.
• Document Verification (DV): After final allocation, allocated departments will issue nomination letters and conduct document verification before issuing appointment orders.

• Valid Government Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport).

• Class 12th (Intermediate) Educational Certificates & Marksheets.
• Caste/Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) in prescribed format (if applicable).
• PwBD / Ex-Servicemen Certificate (if applicable).
• Recent Passport Size Colour Photographs.
