About This Result

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted the Engineering Services (Main) Examination 2026 on 21 June 2026 across various examination centres in India. Based on candidate performance in the written part of the Mains examination, UPSC declared the official result on 24 July 2026.

The declared result contains the roll-wise list of 1,340 provisionally qualified candidates eligible for the final stage—the Personality Test (Interview). 3. Click on the link titled Written Result: Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2026.
4. Open or download the official Roll List PDF document.
5. Press Ctrl + F on keyboard (or search icon on mobile PDF viewer) and enter your 7-digit Roll Number.
6. If your roll number appears in the PDF, you have qualified for the Personality Test stage.
7. Save or print a copy of the official PDF for future reference.

What After Result & Next Stage Instructions

• Step 1: Update Details Online: UPSC will activate an online window on upsconline.nic.in where shortlisted candidates must confirm/update contact details, higher qualifications, employment details, and service preferences.
• Step 2: Interview e-Summon Letter: After processing online submissions, UPSC will upload e-Summon letters for Personality Test on its portal.
• Step 3: Personality Test (Interview): Interviews will be held at UPSC premises in Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi. No request for changing date or time will be considered.
• Step 4: Final Selection: Final merit list will be prepared based on combined marks obtained in Mains Written Exam and Personality Test.
