Indian Oil Corporation Limited has invited applications for apprenticeship training at Mathura Refinery under the Apprentices Act. Vacancy Details

The notification lists 151 tentative seats. The number of seats may increase or decrease at the discretion of management and as per reservation rules.

Eligibility and Qualification

• Candidates must already possess the prescribed qualification as on 30 June 2026.
• Class XII, graduation and diploma qualifications should be from a recognized board, university or institute as regular full-time courses.
• For Class XII / Graduate / Diploma holders, minimum 50% aggregate marks are required; 45% applies for SC/ST and PwBD candidates against reserved seats.
• For ITI in the relevant trade, pass marks are required and the ITI course must be regular full-time and recognized by NCVET/SCVT.
• Part-time, correspondence and distance education qualifications are not eligible.
• Candidates with higher professional qualifications such as BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA or equivalent are not eligible as per the notification.
• Candidates who completed the prescribed qualification more than five years before the eligibility date are not eligible.
• A candidate can apply for only one trade or discipline.

Selection Process

1. Candidate completes registration/application on the relevant NAPS or NATS portal and submits mandatory additional details through Microsoft Forms.
2. There will be no written test.
3. Merit will be prepared in descending order of percentage of marks in the prescribed qualification for the applied trade.
4. Preference will be given to candidates applying for apprenticeship training for the first time.
5. In case of a tie, senior age will be considered first; if date of birth is same, higher percentage in Matriculation will be used.
6. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
7. Final engagement is subject to documents and pre-engagement medical fitness being found in order.

Exam Pattern

The official notification clearly states that there shall be no written test for this apprentice engagement. Selection is merit-based on marks in the prescribed qualification, followed by document verification and medical fitness.

Physical Standards / Medical Fitness

Selected apprentices must meet the minimum physical fitness standards prescribed under the Apprentices Act and IOCL guidelines. Only candidates declared fit in the pre-engagement medical examination will be considered for engagement.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly stipend will be paid as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, Apprentices Rules and IOCL guidelines.
• Apprentices selected against technical plant-related codes may be provided safety shoes and helmet wherever applicable.
• No HRA or company accommodation will be provided to apprentices.
• Apprentices will be covered under suitable accident insurance coverage as per the notification.

• Class X / Matriculation certificate as proof of date of birth.
• Class XII marksheet, ITI marksheets, graduation marksheets or diploma semester/year-wise marksheets as applicable.
• Final certificate for Class XII / ITI / graduation / diploma, as applicable.
• CGPA / OGPA / letter grade to percentage conversion certificate, if applicable.
• Certificate regarding date of publication of result and regular full-time course, if applicable.
• SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwBD certificate and declarations in the prescribed format, if applicable.
• Skill certificate for Domestic Data Entry Operator, if applying under Code 111.
• Printout of NAPS/NATS registration and application details.
• Affidavit confirming apprenticeship eligibility conditions as per the notification.
• Original photo ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence or Passport.

How to Apply

1. Read the complete IOCL Mathura Refinery apprentice notification and confirm the correct code for your qualification.
2. For Codes 101, 102, 103, 108, 109, 110 and 111, register on the NAPS portal and apply for the relevant opportunity.
