About This Result

RRB Chennai has published the CEN 08/2024 Level 1 result for candidates shortlisted to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test. The shortlist has been prepared on the basis of performance in the Computer Based Test conducted by RRBs from 27 November 2025 to 10 February 2026.

The official PDF contains 16-digit roll numbers of provisionally shortlisted candidates. The roll numbers are arranged horizontally in ascending order and are not shown in merit order, so candidates should search their roll number carefully in the official list.

After this CBT shortlist, the next activities such as PET, Document Verification, Medical Examination and panel publication will be managed by the concerned Railway Recruitment Cell. For RRB Chennai shortlisted candidates, future updates will be provided by RRC Chennai, Southern Railway.

1. Visit the official Railway Recruitment Board Chennai website at rrbchennai.gov.in.
2. Open the CEN 08/2024 Level 1 result or PET shortlisted candidates notice.
3. Download the roll number list PDF and cutoff PDF, if shown separately.
4. Search your 16-digit roll number in the official PDF using the find/search option.
5. For score and normalized marks, use the login link on the official RRB website with registration number and date of birth in DDMMYYYY format.
6. Save or print the result notice and follow RRC Chennai for PET e-call letter and schedule updates.

Cut Off / Merit List

RRB Chennai has released normalized cut off marks for candidates shortlisted for Physical Efficiency Test under CEN 08/2024 Level 1.

The roll number PDF is a PET shortlist list and not a merit-order list. Candidates should verify category-wise cutoff and roll number status from the official notice.

What After Result

Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test. The official notice states that PET schedule will be published by the Chairperson of the concerned Railway Recruitment Cell and candidates may also receive SMS/email on their registered mobile number and email address for downloading the PET e-call letter.

For RRB Chennai candidates, future communication for PET, Document Verification, Medical Examination and panel publication will be handled by RRC Chennai, Southern Railway. PwBD, ExSM and CCAA candidates are exempted from PET, and their separate shortlist will be published by the respective RRC as per the official notice.
